SESSION 1: SCOR: Open Standards for Supply Chain Management – An Overview
Sean Culey, SUPPLY CHAIN COUNCIL European Leadership Team
What do hundreds of the world’s best-performing companies have in common? The SCOR process reference model - the supply chain world’s most widely accepted framework for evaluating, managing and improving supply chain performance.
This session provides executives with a high level overview of the SCOR framework including process, metrics, and practice components. They will be led to examine their own ideas of supply chain management, and the relevance of SCOR to their particular issues – from ongoing performance improvement to mergers and acquisitions.
SESSION 2: Linking Strategy to Operations: Define, Align, and Perform with SCOR and SCORmark Benchmarking
Sean Culey, SUPPLY CHAIN COUNCIL, European Leadership Team
So many companies struggle with key questions in supply chain management – What supply chains do we have? What are their strategies? How do I measure performance? What should my performance goals be? All to frequently, high level strategies are left disconnected from the day to day reality of operations.
This Interactive session introduces supply chain executives to the fundamental steps of deep, end-to-end alignment within their supply chains.
Participants will understand how to identify supply chains, identify competitive strategies, instrument those strategies with SCOR metrics, use open-source benchmarking to define performance gaps and improvement requirements, and see how the alignment from top business requirements cascades all the way to detailed process performance requirements within their organizations.
Shared in the session will be SCORmark Benchmarking industry trend data as well as an understanding of the SCOR metrics framework and how to use these to highlight areas of competitive advantage.
